New York is known for its busy streets and lively nightlife, hence the nickname, The City that Never Sleeps. There are a lot of establishments in New York that contribute to the city’s liveliness, and some of these are its clubs. New York Dance Clubs are very well-known all throughout the USA, and they are hotspots for those who are seeking real fun and excitement.
Clubs are great places wherein you can just celebrate and enjoy life. Dance clubs and night clubs provide people with great entertainment, food, and drinks. Different types of New York Dance Clubs are now open and running, and almost all are open from dusk until dawn.
A lot of New York Dance Clubs host different-themed parties and events every now and then, so it is certain for you to come across a party that you would enjoy. 13 Bar/Lounge ” On Tuesday nights, this club offers live Jazz, Funk, Rock, and Soul music. However, if your not a big fan of those types of music and would prefer to just dance your heart out, they hold DJ parties from Wednesdays through Sundays with different types of dance music.
Crazy Nanny’s – This club hosts dance parties from Friday night through Saturday night. Although a gay club this is not their only patrons, as it is often enjoyed by heterosexuals. The club includes two bars, a jukebox, DJ’s and a pool table for a mix of entertainment.
Downtime ” Features live music on the main floor, a DJ dance hall, and even a game room! Common genres of music played here are Jazz, Blues, Rock and Pop.
Exit – A popular New York Dance Club that lets you dance until the early hours. Their music includes Hip Hop, Techno, House and RnB. The club also has lounge areas, so you can take a break from all the dancing.
Nells ” This all-in-one club has a food service to satisfy your taste buds, a lounge for drinks with friends, a dance floor to get your groove on, a live stage for entertainment, and three bars as well! They provide their guests with live music and they have a DJ spinnin a different genre of music every night: Cuban on Wednesdays, Reggae on Thursdays, Jazz/International on Fridays, and Karaoke on Sundays.
Filter 14 ” Here you can meet up with friends at either of their two bars or dance the night away to the sounds of Disco, Garage, House or Hip Hop.
Generally, New York Dance Clubs ask guests for admission fees ranging from $5-$25, a fairly reasonable price for great music and lots of fun. Some clubs also have special nights wherein they give discounts or free admission to groups of people; the most common kind of special night is Ladies Night.
As usual, these clubs are open to all those who are of legal age. When going to a club, also take note that most New York Dance Clubs implement dress codes, so make sure you inquire about their rules first before heading out to party.
