Years ago, when there weren’t all of these chemical products on the market, people had to use what they had when a problem occurred. And even years later, when there were chemical products available they didn’t need to use them because they already knew of natural products that worked for them. So why should they change now to something ‘unsafe’? Natural products always worked. There is no need for them to spend extra money.
Simply, in years gone by, people used to products and food they had around the house to cure pimples, bad breath, sores, ingrown hairs, and more. Even today, most grandmas believe that chemicals and anything else that’s “newfangled” on the market isn’t necessary, just like they think technology is overblown, too. And, using natural products to cure disorders and for beauty treatments is better than slathering on a bunch of chemicals.
There are many products that can be used for other reasons than its obvious reason. Some of these products include Tea Tree Oil, Geranium, Jaffa, Almonds, Rosemary, Avocado, Vanilla, Sunflower, Anise, Lemon, Cocoa Butter, Mint, Sweet Orange, Mixed Berries and more. These are just a few of the things you might have in your home at the moment that can be put to good use.
For example, if you’ve got digestive problems, drink a little lemon juice every morning to get your digestion working. Add a little bit to a glass of cold water to quench your thirst. It’s much better for you to do this than to drink something that has lots of sugar, preservatives, coloring, and so on. You can also use lemon for flu and cold. In the event you feel a cold coming on, mix a little warm lemon juice with some honey and take a tablespoon three times a day.
Tea Tree Oil is another one of Nana’s favorites. You might remember her always pulling out her bottle of Oil when you hurt yourself. This is great for acne, cuts, abrasions, ingrown hairs, rashes, smelly feet and more. Always have a bottle of Tea Tree Oil handy. You will be surprised at how often you will use it. After a while you are going to wonder how you survived without it.
Don’t spend money on air fresheners that are harsh on your nose; instead, put some fresh rosemary into a basket or vase in each room of your home. It will keep your home fresh smelling, and is also unique. It doesn’t smell like any chemical air fresheners, and instead gives off a natural, clean smell.
Bad breath is something many people suffer from, even if they brush their teeth three times a day. Sometime bad breath stems from stomach problems and bad thyroids, and individuals can’t help their bad breath. If you carry mint leaves with you and chew on one when you notice the bad breath come on, then you won’t have any problems. Just remember your leaves wherever you go. Parsley is also good for bad breath if that is easier for you to get your hands on.
If you use natural products, they’ll be more effective and you’ll also feel better using them than you will chemical counterparts. In addition, most natural products don’t have the side effects chemical ones do, so you’ll have no problems and will find them beneficial.
